Search engine optimisation (SEO)
SEO or search engine optimisation is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in the search engines via the "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users.
Your website needs to stand out above your competition. Without visibily across the internet it’s comparable to opening a shop in the high street and putting no signage above the door, your customer would not know you exist. SEO works like this but in the virtual environment. How your website is designed and written will affect the way it is seen throughout the organic listings. Having a fully managed SEO campaign will help drive traffic to your site and thus increase sales and enquiries providing a return on investment.

Good content writing is important for recognistion amongst the search engine, e.g: Google. The more content that is updated on your website, the more Google will return to crawl the site for information.
Adwords - Pay Per Click advertising
Pay per click (PPC) (also called Cost per click) is an Internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, where advertisers pay the publisher (e.g: Google) when the ad is clicked. With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. Content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system. PPC "display" advertisements are shown on web sites or search engine results with related content that have agreed to show ads. This approach differs from the "pay per impression" methods used in television and newspaper advertising.
Websites that utilise PPC ads will display an advertisement when a keyword query (what words / phrase the user types into the search engine) matches an advertiser's keyword list, or when a content site displays relevant content. Such advertisements are called sponsored links or sponsored ads, and appear adjacent to or above organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a web developer chooses on a content site.
Ensuring that the traffic driven to your website is relevant is essential for sales conversions.
