The Youth Cancer Trust
Sambecketts supports the Youth Cancer Trust and has been involved in the brand development of the charity since 2001, as well as the day-to-day running supporting Brenda Clark (Founder) and James Keating (Manager) whilst they look after over 250 young people every year.
The Youth Cancer Trust provides support and free activity holidays in Bournemouth for teenagers and young adults (aged 14 to 30) with cancer in the UK and Ireland.
It has become increasingly important that cancer survivorship requires a support system for young people with cancer to be with other young people with cancer to share the experience and reduce the sense of isolation which often accompanies a cancer diagnosis.
